Learn From Leaders: Live Event
I cannot stress enough the importance of learning from leaders. Investing in books, CD’s and mp3’s are important and can be invaluable. However, if you ever have the opportunity to meet and work with your mentors in person, I highly recommend you take advantage of it.
If you are developing yourself as a leader in your business, then you need as much exposure as possible to leaders who are hugely successful. The energy of a live event or meeting is not comparable to anything else. I recently met many successful online marketers at a live event, two of which are mentors of mine. I picked up so much just by being at a live event, I could not wait to get back and implement what I learned and pass it on to my team! The “Golden Nuggets” that can be picked up at live events are priceless.
Mark is the king of “Implementation” and personal branding. Jonathan is the master of video marketing. I’ll be part of Jonathan’s Mastermind Group beginning training the first week of November.

Live events and hearing from the horse’s mouth are so motivational. I always come home from a convention so enthused and raring to implement everything I’ve learned!

Nothing like learning from the best as well as meeting them. I am sure you get to gather a wealth of information while you are there!

I would think most people learn better in person, I know I do.

You never know what you will learn just by being there. Even if something is a live feed, I think you get more by being there and hearing the stuff that doesn’t make the feed. Plus, you can learn from other people who are there.

It is much better to see and hear information from those who we admire and want to learn from! I’ve always liked live vs. book learning!

There is tremendous power “where two or more gather.” I hope you have a wonderful time at the event, and I see that’s why you went with the absentee ballot… ?? Also hope you’re feeling much better to attend!

I still haven’t been to a real life conference but online ones. I’ve learned so much online and can only imagine how much you learned at your conference, especially meeting people one on one.

There’s nothing like being there. You can learn all you want online, watch the live feeds, and read the commentary, but you don’t get the little things when you’re not there.

Mike Dooley and Sheelagh Mawe are the authors/teachers that I’m studying right now. They both inspire me and expand my horizons so much that I’m in awe time after time…

One good example of how not-so-well-known author/book can teach you loads is Sheelagh Mawe’s book Dandelion. To me it was completely breathtaking how she explains The Law of Attraction while telling story about the horse - by now quite famous misfit Dandelion.
